One of my main goals with my research is to be an effective communicator to ensure that research findings are clearly and accurately conveyed to policymakers and the general public. Science should be accessible and applicable to broader audiences to support informed decision-making.
As my research mostly occurs on working farms, I also work closely with Cornell Cooperative Extension team members and the growers of New York State.
Current Extension & Outreach
One of the most important parts of my research is to share findings with growers and to shape future research based on the needs of growers. Connecting with the growers whose farms and communities we work in helps build important relationships.
I do this by presenting at grower meetings and field demonstration days, as well as publishing extension articles.
Presentations
Cornell Cooperative Extension Northwest New York Soybean and Small Grains Congress (Feb 2025)
Cornell Cooperative Extension South Central New York Dairy and Field Crops Winter Crop Meeting (Jan 2025)
Articles
